Ayia Napa - Visitor reviews Ayia Napa is one hot party town! They’ve got the best white sand beaches on the island, plenty of clubs and hotspots and the best food found anywhere on the island. Ayia Napa is nice for a weekend getaway but that’s about it. There really isn’t a lot to do if you’re not into clubbing and partying. The beaches are beautiful and some cater to the younger crowd, which is nice, but how much sunning can you do? The water sports are worth checking out as well. |

We went to Ayia Napa to enjoy the wide variety of water sports this resort city had to offer and we were not disappointed. Between the wide, white sand beaches, clear blue water, and great water entertainment, we got our money’s worth from this vacation. Since we have the whole family with us, we checked out the Water World Water Park. Pack plenty of sun block because you will be hard pressed to get the kiddies to go home! One word of advice if you are coming to Ayia Napa with your family: don’t come during the peak tourist season or the young clubbers will overrun you. Other than that, this resort haven on the island of Cyprus definitely has the best ocean swimming and diving around. My two teenaged boys and I enjoyed learning how to dive and checking out the reefs and coral formations close by.
My wife and I were told that the resort town of Ayia Napa was beautiful and had some of the nicest beaches on the island. Imagine our disappointment when we discovered this town overrun with a bunch of disrespectful young people. We asked our hotel manager to speak to the party goers next to us five times, until we just knocked on the door and asked them to pipe down ourselves.
