Lefke is a university town and one of the most fun on the island.  There are a few attractions, like the palaces, and there is just a really nice old world charm to the entire place.  It’s not obnoxious for a college town.  We stayed at one of the hotels there and were treated like royalty.  This would be the area I’d want my college student to be living in.

Lefke is…and I hate to say this…boring.  That’s not a slam against the town which is very beautiful and well maintained.  The citizen’s really take pride in the way the town is viewed by others.  Plus, there are some great shops in it that cater to homemade crafts.  Other than partying at the college, though, there’s just not a lot to do here.
